What is the Gorilla trekking permit in Uganda?

The Gorilla trekking permit is a permission that is issued by the Ugandan Government to allow you join a group of other tourists into the Forest to see rare mountain gorillas. It is entirely optional when you are on a Uganda Safari. Though if needed we are able to reserve for you but due to admirable conservation efforts being made to ensure the gorillas’ survival, they are in a limited number. Gorilla permits are available per day. They (permits) must be pre-booked and paid in advance. A gorilla trekking tour with us can only be confirmed by booking of a gorilla permits given that they are limited in number.
