Queen Elizabeth N/Park is located in Western Uganda, and it is one of the oldest parks, established in 1952. This park covers 1978sq.km of land area, and features extensive savanna grassland, Crater Lakes, tropical forests and offers the breathtaking view of the Rwenzori Mountain ranges. Over 96 mammal species live in Queen Elizabeth NP, and these include 4 of the big 5 game- lions, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, antelopes, the tree climbing lions, over 600 bird species.

Detailed Itinerary of this All inclusive 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

On your first day of this Amazing 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, Meet your Uganda Safari Guide, get a warm welcome and briefing about your safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will start your journey from Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth Park, and this will take about 7-8 hours driving via Masaka-Mbarara-Kasese route. This includes en route stopover at Equator crossing with scenic view of the surrounding area. Continue with your journey to Queen Elizabeth Park and access the park via Katunguru gate.


After enjoying early morning breakfast on the second day of the Amazing 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, you will set off for a game drive along Kasenyi plains. This is expected to go for 2-3 hours and you will come across diversity of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, leopards, bushbucks, spotted hyenas, giant forest hogs, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, birds and more.

Return to enjoy lunch at the lodge, and at 2:00 pm, proceed to Kazinga channel for a boat cruise experience 2-3 hours. On Kazinga boat tour, you will be exposed to myriad of aquatic life including hippos, crocodiles, birds plus elephants, buffaloes as they confine along the banks/shores to cool themselves.


The 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari includes Lions tracking so on this day, you will proceed for your early morning lion tracking in Kasenyi track, and this is expected to go for 1-3 hours. You will have a deep exploration about lions, how they behave and also take pictures. Retreat from your lion tracking experience, settle at the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will set off for a cultural visit at Kasoga Community Experience.


Wake up early on the 4day of the Amazing 5 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari, and be served a delicious breakfast. After, proceed to Kalinzu Forest about 1 hour drive from Queen Elizabeth N. Park. At Kalinzu, you will engage in a guided chimpanzee tracking adventure. Explore in depth about chimpanzees, their daily behaviors and also take pictures, then return to the lodge for lunch. The rest of the afternoon can be spent relaxing at the lodge, or visit Lake Katwe to explore more about salt mining/pay a visit to Kichwamba Orphanage Foundation to engage in different exciting local community experiences including community walk.


Breakfast will be served to you at lodge, after your driver guide will transfer you back to Kampala/Entebbe via Mbarara route or take the Fort Portal route. Arrive early in the afternoon, settle at a hotel in Kampala/Entebbe and today marks the end of 5 days Queen Elizabeth National Park tour.
