Rise up for early morning breakfast, after begin your long day drive 7-8 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Masaka-Mbarara route. Expected en route stopover will be made at the Equator crossing, and lunch at a hotel in Mbarara city/Igongo cultural center. After lunch, proceed to your lodge while viewing the Igara tea plantation, and before you reach your lodge, enjoy a view of crater lakes, and the sweeping savanna plains.

Accommodation

You will begin your day at Queen Elizabeth National Park with an African wildlife safari game drive early in the morning before sunrise. Spend 2-3 hours exploring the Kasenyi plains, enjoy sights of elephants, lions, spotted hyenas, antelopes, birds, etc, and return to have lunch. In the afternoon, you will again leave your lodge for a boat cruise tour along the Kazinga channel, a natural channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. On the Kazinga channel boat cruise, get clear sightings of hippos, crocodiles, aquatic birds, etc.

After a hot cup of tea/coffee, check out of the lodge and you will be driven back to Kampala/Entebbe. En route, lunch will be enjoyed at a hotel in Mbarara, proceed to Equator/Mpambire drum makers for a stopover visit, and later, continue to Kampala/Entebbe to be dropped to your hotel for evening relaxation.
