Day 1: Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, drive to Ruhengeri passes through magnificent views of the hilly countryside which give Rwanda its stature as “a country of a thousand hills”. You will have a stop over at the Park headquarters for briefing and later be guided by a ranger guide to trek the gorillas. This activity is the most unforgettable experience of a lifetime. After the trek, you may decide to relax at the preferred lodge or visit the local projects, go on walks in villages surrounding the park and interact with local people.
